02 How many babies are you expecting?
Expecting Twins?
When you’re expecting twins, we collect and store stem cells for each baby individually. This is essential for both medical and legal reasons:
It’s not possible to 100% confirm whether twins are genetically identical before birth.
To ensure fairness, clarity and full medical benefit, stem cells must always be stored per child, not per birth.
Only one person can legally own a stem cell sample and decide on its future use.
Twin pricing — how it works
To support twin families, Cellaviva offers a special pricing model. This ensures both children receive their own stem cell sample, with clear ownership and complete future usability.
BABY 01
100% of the regular service fee + storage fee
BABY 02
50% off the combined service fee + storage fee
How the discount is applied
The 50% discount is always applied to the twin with the fewest approved sources, once the laboratory analysis is completed.
Note: The discount does not apply to the fixed Collection Kit fee of SEK
03 Planned C-section?
Here’s what we need from you
If you have a scheduled C-section, your hospital will usually give you an exact date and time shortly before the procedure.
Please enter this information further down in the order form, under “Information about the mother.”
If you haven’t received the date yet, simply add your estimated due date (BF).
Providing this information helps our team plan and support you in the best possible way on the day of birth.
Good to know:
Choosing stem cell collection assistance from Cellaviva costs the same whether the birth is vaginal or by C-section and whether you are expecting one baby or twins.
04 The Cellaviva box
Why do I need a Cellaviva Box?
Before your baby arrives, you’ll need to receive a Cellaviva Box.
The Cellaviva Box contains your personalized collection kit containing all the equipment and materials needed for a safe and successful stem cell collection.
When ordering the collection of stem cells the box is a mandatory part of the order. You don’t have to order a box separately.
The content of the box depends on your choice of stem cells.
With Cellaviva, you can choose to preserve up to three types of biological material, each adding an extra layer of protection for your family’s future health.

The Cellavia Box pricing
The cost for the kit depends on the stem cell sources you choose to store.
This fee includes sterile single-use equipment, secure packaging, shipping, and the manual handling required to prepare and dispatch your kit.
The collection of the placenta requires additional medical supplies which affects the price when choosing this source.
TISSUE AND/OR BLOOD
= Price: 1,995 SEK
TISSUE AND/OR BLOOD + PLACENTA
= Price: 2,095 SEK
Please note that this fee is non-refundable.
Payment
The Cellaviva box fee is invoiced when your kit is dispatched from our logistics department.
All other costs, such as collection assistance, laboratory processing, and storage, are only invoiced after successful cryopreservation of the stem cells, which provides safety for your investment.
You only pay for the stem cell storage if the stem cells are proved to be usable for future treatments.
Please note that the fee for the Cellaviva Box is non-refundable due to customization.
05 Collection Assistance
Choose between two options:
1. Collection assistance by Cellaviva personnel
Available in selected regions. Our trained midwives, nurses and assistant nurses can perform the entire collection for you.
2. Self-collection / hospital-assisted collection
Your partner, doula, or hospital midwife/staff can perform the collection using the illustrated step-by-step instructions included in every Cellaviva box. 06 Number of stem cell sources
Choose how many stem cell sources you want to store
You can choose to store one, two, or all three stem cell sources. Each source adds additional biological material for potential future use.
Selecting more sources means preserving a larger and broader range of stem cells, which may increase how they can be used in future treatments.
The most cost-effective option is to store all three, as this provides the greatest overall cell volume and widest therapeutic potential.
A one-time opportunity
Stem cells can only be collected once – at the moment of birth. Choose the number of sources that best matches your wishes, your budget, and how much biological potential you want to preserve for the future.
More sources = more possibilies
07 Select your sources
Different source, different range of opportunities
Each source contains unique stem cell types with different therapeutic strengths.
By storing stem cells from cord blood, cord tissue and placenta, you preserve the widest spectrum of biological material available at birth.
Together, these sources are used or studied in treatments for cancer, immune disorders, neurological disease, heart conditions, joint and tissue injuries, and more.
Choosing multiple sources increases the total number and diversity of cells, maximising your family’s access to current and emerging cell therapies, throughout life.
